12-3-2006 Cloundy Smallmouth

AlvinC and I hit Riverpark with our co-worker Jimmy today. After yesterday's short fish bonaza I figured we would kill fish today. We did, sort of. Alvin got the big bass for the day with a 2.3 lb smallie. Nice. I got big drum of the day with a 10lb or so hog. We ended up putting 36 bass in the boat wtih probably 2 limits of 12" or better spots. I have no idea where these fish were yesterday but we caught them today. Today was easily twice as warm as yesterday even with the clouds. Of the 36 fish caught about 8 of them were smallmouths. Alvin caught most of them and 2 were very disfigured. One of them is picture below with the humpback.

All fish were caught on tubes and jigging spoons. What else?

There ya go fellers. Nice to see Alvin get a fish today. He and I were both sick after yesterday. I know you werent happy either Whiskers..</p>

3.5" tubes in chartuese mostly. The last few smallmouths came on a jigging spoon.
