I'm selling my boat... :( My wife and I welcomed our little girl Mackenzie on Father's Day. Between the time I want to spend with her and the financial demand she brought (she's already demanding credit cards ;) ) the Green Machine is up for sale! We would like to free up some expenses and pay of a couple loans. I'm sure I'll get another one when she gets a little older

1978 Allison XST 17'
- 50lb thrust MinnKota Foot Controlled Trolling Motor
- All lights work
- Humminbird SX100 at bow (needs transducer)
- Eagle Cuda 300 on console (works great)
- Split Livewell w/ aerator
- 18 gallon gas tank
- 3 batteries (1 crank for motor, 1 crank for electronics, 1 TM battery)
- Electronics rewired this summer for gas gauge, speedo, courtesy lights, navigation lights, bilge

1979 Evinrude 85HP
- Lower unit completely rebuilt
- Power tilt/trim
- New fuel line installed this summer
- 3 blade prop
- New hydrofoil stabilizer fin for quicker hole shot

This boat has been a great boat once I got the lower rebuilt. I was out this weekend with my dad and with all the gear we were pushing 40mph. Both of us weigh over 250. With just me and gear I can hit 42-43. It comes out of the hole REAL nice. I'm sure with a little tweaking (Wrenchin2 was drooling) you can get the mph up quite a bit. The trailer just had new bearings, races, and lube installed 1 month ago. I need to install a new livewell water on/off switch, trailer light bulb, and front navigation light lens, but I'll have those done this week. Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Asking $2400

You ought to try and list it on allisonowners.com if it doesn't move quickly. These boats are collector's items in some circles. BTW, nice boat.

I saw several ads on craigslist with someone trying to get in touch with you about your boat he left his number. Check the for sale boats ad in Chattanooga and you can find it

Dang dude! That was quick! You gonna take her out for a farewell trip?

Knowing my luck, I'd run into something emoLaugh

I'm gonna miss the boat, but you know I'll have another one before too long.
