good dependable bass boat for sale. 1995 javelin, 18 ft, johnson 150 hp (1995) two year old minn kota 67 pound thrust trolling motor. the boat is no were near perfect been fished out of alot, scrathes, dings no extra charge. the seats and carpet are perfect. would like to trade for flat bottom with 25 or 40hp and some cash. $4800.00 obo. 423-421-3371 ray

You might get some intrest in it if you would consider separating boat and motor. Alot of people (including myself), would be wary of an older motor, no matter if it runs good or not.

Also, if you had the time a good wetsanding and buffing would do wonders for the boat.

It isn't uncommon for people to already have a motor and just be needing a hull to put it on. To say that he wouldn't get anything for just the hull isn't true at all.

Also..
I'm not saying he should or he shouldn't seperate, just giving him a couple of suggestions. Maybe you have some helpfull advice to add here?

price is almost dead on, just hang in there. maybe a good cleaning and wax job would help. don't seperate the two, if they want motor make them take the boat also, you won't buy a new 150 hp for that price. put it in the paper,tndeer.com,and localsalesnetwork.com, also try craigslist.com. emoUSA

I say price is good, I would suggest some better pics of the inside, motor w/o cowling, ect. A wash and buff always helps too.
