1998 Stratos 295 Pro Elite with a 2000 Evinrude 225 Ficht,and 25 Pitch Renegade prop. Also equipped with 6 inch jackplate, deka batteries, 3 bank minn kota onboard charger,dual livewells,hotfoot,drop in blacklight plugs, evinrude 24 volt trolling motor,single axle trailer with brakes, new tires, and new bearing buddies.It also has a lowrance 1240-A flasher in dash, a Eagle Fish Elite 480 gps-sonar combo a console, and Eagle Cuda 168 on deck. what lenght is your boat? is the carpet and gelcoat in good shape? also is powerhead ever been rebuilt?

the length is 19 foot 6 inch and carpet and gelcoat are in great shape. The powerhead has never been rebuilt. I've had this motor for about a year and half and have never had any problems with it. When I bought it the dealer told the guy that owned it traded it in on a new etec, and he had bought this motor new, just wanted to upgrade.

You may be right, but I've not had any problems with the ficht. In fact I like it a lot, it's a strong running motor.

thats just what somebody told me i know theres always alot of talk about mercury being the top dog, dependability means more than brand name as far as im concerned.

im lookin for a boat now but like most folks im lookin for a newer model in the 21 ft range ill keep you in mind though

Ill take it if i can pay ya 25 bucks a weeks for next 400 weeks LOL... man thats a sharp boat to bad i got to wait one more year to get one..
