If you missed it, we started a thread for folks guessing when CFF would hit 2,000 Registered members. DHaun declared the 2,000th member on 12/10/07 at 10:31 pm.

And Crazy... you owe me son because you tried to change your 12/10 guess and I wouldn't let you. emoPoke emoBigsmile

I think I have your address but PM it to me just to confirm and I will mail you your Redfin. I know a couple of other folks offered up prizes. You should prowl through the thread, and PM them to work out details.

Congratulations to you... but more congratulations to CFF and DHaun for what some might call "an idea gone mad!"emoCrazy

Does any one know who the 2000 member is

DHaun said 2,000 CFF Member is "Nickajack Angler." Profile says his name is Spencer Howerton. Sorry Spencer... you don't win anything... just the person who guessed when you'd sign up. On second thought... you do win my respect and admiration. emoBigsmile

Fantastic, Crazy!!!! I can't think of another person (other than me) that I would rather have win the pool. The last few days membership must have really picked up. That's great.

Crazy, pm me with your mailing address and I will get the cap light and john deere cap in the mail to you.

Wow... I do owe you something SIMMS! How bout a free "guided" trip to Parksville in the spring? I also didn't know that there was going to be a prize!

 Thanks guys!

Unbelievable that I was the 2000th member! I moved to the area 6 mos ago and have been following the site religiously since I found it. I just felt the need to join and contribute, for all the fishing I have done on Nickajack since moving here, I finally feel that I have somethings that I CAN contribute. I've been fortunate enough to meet some great friends that have invited me after seeing the pictures on my phone on my fishing excursions from shore. Fishermen know who the other fishermen are and can tell a casual guy from a die hard pretty quickly.
The fishing here is so different than the Minnesota glacier lakes that I have been fishing for the last 17 yrs. I grew up in Asheville, NC and had to get back "home", so my family chose the Chattanooga area. From the first day I drove over the river, I was in heaven. It's been interesting learning moving water tactics and the temperment of fish used to the dam scheduled releases. We have sure enjoyed some of the best fishing I've ever experienced in the short time I've been here. The difference in species caught on any one day is amazing...
So, if the 2000th winner doesn't win anything.... how about one of the bass pro's, and I mean a real "player" on Nickajack/Chick/Guntersville take me ABOVE the damn and show me some spots and techniques. For the most part, people here in TN are welcoming me and excited to share their great fishery with me and my boys. I couldn't be happier to be here. Can't wait to move on over to Guntersville and Chickamauga. Of course I plan to fish the entire TVA!

I'll be glad to take you out sometime...I'm FAR from a "player", but I've gotten to know a little about the Chick in the year I've been out there. Shoot me a PM if you're interested and let me know when you are available to fish, and I'll let you know when my BS is empty.</p>

And this IS heaven, I'm pretty sure !

Thanks much! I'll be the last guy to turn down a new opportunity to fish. And on the fabled Chick too! I may have thought I was a pro when I was 12, but now I find out how much more there is to learn. I love learning new water and new techniques. Living in different areas of the country has shown me a lot of interesting methods.
You just moved here a year ago? Where from?
As for my availability, it changes very quickly, and my "open" times are usually early until about 10am or 12pm. I recently started working after 6 mos of doing nothing much but coaching football and fishing since I moved here in June. Fri, Sat, Sun 5am to 10 and some weekends later, when my wife is not working. Thanks for the offer. I hope we really can put something together. And you are certainly welcome to come to Nickajack and I'll share a few possiblilities.

NA, glad to have another nick fisherman close by, you will love it here, if I can help you with your fishing on the nick, let me know.

Funny thing is that I now know who you are! I fished right by you below that dam about three times. We spoke. I sure did think it sad that such a nice boat and no one to get the net for you!!! Thanks for your offer. I would like to see the top side of that lake eventually... I post that Walley on the earlier thread now. Pain in the butt figuring out how to resize photos.

Hey NA, one thing I do now on photos, is to resize them before I donload them to the computer. I found the feature the other day. Then most times all I have to do is crop them a little bit, and they are under the 100K max to post here. It took me some time, but I am apro at it now.
