rsimms, put another article in the paper and I would say that day. Remember how the membership grew that next week? The last two months we have averaged between 50 and 60 new members per month so I would guess that we'll get there at or around Dec. 16th at midnight. I hope that I win the jackpot. What is the jackpot anyway?

This thread along with Polo-Dog's monthly avg estimate got me curious so I queried the data and created this chart just to see what the history has been. Notice the rapid growth after going online and then the RSimms article spike in March 2006 (I think that's just after the article was published). The other record was a year later in March 2007, where CFF also had its busiest single day on 3-12-2007 with 1,136 visits and 16,964 pageviews. There were several record breaking days Feb-March 2007. I recall not being able to really attribute it to anything other than Spring fever that month.

This data may help with your estimates...I expect sometime in December is when we will hit 2000 I typically approve new member requests within 12 hours. At 1000 members several of us met at the RiverPark last year for a Spicy Fried Chicken Tailgate picnic. We may need to do something like that again! emoHungry
