36 boats fished the frigid opener for 2016. 18 weighed in and 18 blanked. The second place team reported catching around 70 fish. My partner and I caught 2 with one being a keeper - both on rattle traps. No takers on the bottom or the rig or the jerk bait. 3-fish limits listed below for the money winners.
