THERE ARE GOOD GENES AND BAD GENES...THIS FISH HAS...NO , HAD... SUPERB GENES.....THAT NOW WILL NOT BE PASSED ON TO FUTURE GENERATIONS....ENOUGH SAID!!!
Probably spawned for several seasons and his/her dna has been passed along to future generations. If you believe studies from biologists, older fish as less successful spawning as younger move virile fish. I wouldn't keep a fish like this, but it won't hurt future generations by his going on a wall somewhere.
