I can't remember the dates of the trips but they have both been in the last 2 weeks. Each trip was from 5:30 -8pm
Trip #1: 1st week in October fished below Chick. dam and caught 5 smallmouth, 2 spots, and 1 striper. All caught on shad crankbaits. The smallmouth were thick in there and lots of other boats were doing well. The smallest smallmouth was 12" and the largest was 15". The spots were each 2lbers. and the striper was a little guy @ 12".
Trip #2 last week: Fished right before the front came through and was only able to manage 3. 2 largemouth bass and 1 smallie. Again all caught on threadfin/TN shad crankbaits. Water temp. was 74F.
I am heading out this afternoon and again on Thursday so I'll keep the forum posted.
