I would like to thank the following CFFers for helping me make December a month to remember. It was the best month of Crappie fishing that I have ever had and it was because of so many of you guys going with me. We caught 644 Crappie in December 2007 on 15 trips for an average of 44 per day. Wow!
Spurhunter, Rsimms, Dhaun, WLG, Skeeter07, Fishing Machine, Jmax, Cheez, JSV, Gator, Jwateacher3, and Bprice. I did fish alone one time and took my brother-in-law one time also.

Overall total of fish for the year was 2678. Of that number, 156 were catfish which makes me about 850 short of EricM's total. emoBigsmile Along the way we landed 421 bass. My bluegill totals aren't accurate 'cause I didn't start keeping records of them until late in the year. Only made a limited number of trips to Watts Bar for stripers as TVA wasn't running much water this year. Only caught 18 with a 21.1 pounder being the largest.

I am blessed to have found this website and to meet so many of you and have established what I hope to be a lifetime friendship with you. A great big thank you has to go to Dhaun for making this site available to all of us. I hope to see you on the water in 2008. Happy New Year.

next year you need to find a way to get commission for all the panfish assassins and mr crappie line that is sold because of your reports.

Well, I have to repent for giving you such a hard time this year. I made a New Year's resolution last year to not bad mouth you at all, and I broke that one pretty quickly. emoPoke emoBigsmile You are such an easy target though, FA. It's hard to miss hitting you from time to time. I was in the boat with you 3 times in 2007. If we don't go more in 2008, it won't be my fault. My back seat is always open for you whenever Jane lets you out of the house. Oops! There I go again. Gotcha again, didn't I? emoBigsmile Call me if you ever need me. emoGeezer

I will find my way into that backseat one day, some how, some way!

I'd was going to say I was envious, but it isn't true. I'm just awed!

That's a really nice post Drumking. Lots of fish. You're definitely right about CFF making so many things possible for anglers in our area. Good Luck next year!

Drumking I feel honored to call you my friend! You have certainly made a difference here on CFF and I suspect a difference in a lot of lives. Thank you for your generosity and kindness of spirit. Now let's you and I fish some more in 2008!

I don't know what your work schedule is, but the first decent day in the next week or 2, you are the first one in the boat.

Thanks for all you do. The advise and experiences you pass along are priceless. Your love for fishing and your fellow fisherman is heartfelt. Your love for our Savior is immeasurable.
