2007 Numbers from MrWiskers

Having nothing to do tonight I decided to copy out and start a spreadsheet of the fish caught on fishing trips that I went on this past year. These numbers are the total fish caught either in my boat or when I rode with someone. These numbers do not include the Wednesday night dogfights (which all the reports are no longer available) from this spring which would add another 150 or so bass to the total. These numbers came from reports I posted this year with some "junk" fish numbers being estimates and probably about 10% too low. This year I plan to keep better numbers and we will see what happens.

Sounds fun! I was thinking the same... So far I'm at 10 Black bass. (only going to keep count of black bass catches)

That's great info MrWhiskers. Do you have a good waterproof system that helps you keep up with all of that? DK's system wouldn't make it through much of a rain from what I've seen.

I keep up with it in my head.

My plan is to complile my reports (with additional information added) into a book that I can reference quickly without having to seach throuh 100's of reports. The should be very valuable as the seasons change to quickly find out what the fish were doing in previous years.

I don't worry much about what I caught in the past. I just worry about what I can catch 'em on TOMORROW! emoLaugh I used to be very good at keeping a "fishing diary." Got lazy (or busy). Now I let my Scenic City "photo galleries" serve as my fishing diary. And it is interesting, I can look at every single picture in my web site photo gallery and tell you specific details on every fish caught... where and how ... and of course all photos are accurately dated, so it really does help me from year-to-year.

Oh yea... I always knew you were "The Spot Man." Those numbers prove it! You are to spots what DK is to crappie, what EricM is to blues.
