2007 stratos 285 with a 150 for sale $17,700 (new price)

i am thinking about selling my boat and not sure how much it is worth and was wanting some idea from some of you professionals. its a 2007 stratos 285xl with a 150 yamaha vmax, has a hot foot and the humminbird 798si with gps. also has automatic livewell and bilge pumps.

i'm guessing Base Price new was around: $30,000,,,,,low retail $14,950 ,,,,,,,high retail $17,150
with electronics ,t-motor $19.500,,,,,,now what a dealer will give you,,i would guess between low and high retail,are you looking for a bigger boat? or ? you got a nice tx boat right there

im sorry. its a 2007. i talked to chattanooga fish n fun, was going to take it to them and have them tell me how much to sell it for and they told me to do NADA. this is what i came up with
suggested retail is $25,599
low retail is $18,650
average retail is $21,300

new 285s are going new for starting base price of $28,000. and then with the electronics and other stuff already on this boat it would sell for over $30,000 new. this boat is very nice, got a few scratches here and there but not much.

It will be a tough sell on a five year old boat with a single axle trailer and a 150 engine at that price. But if the right person sees it and falls in love with it that is not unheard of. There are a lot of that style/size boat out there less then that where folks are trying to sell them but with money tight and deals like there are they go lower. It does look great and will make someone a good boat no doubt. I would advise you to post it on bass home page and bass boat central. i wasnt talking about your post oldman, it was some of the other ones, yours was just the bottom post when i posted that. either way i shouldnt have said it and i apologize. i just need to research it some more and find out what i should sell it for. the only price i seen in the previous post was $15,500 and i thought that was way too low. i just thought it would be worth more than that. if thats all i could get out of it then i will probably just keep it. and once again i apologize for running my mouth
