The Chattanooga Bass Association Would like to invite everyone to come out and join us for our 34th season. We are excited to get started this coming weekend with Truck and Trailers February Open, this Saturday the 26th.

As always we will pay $2000.00 for the win in each regular season event, and $10,000.00 to the Towboat U.S. Classic Championship winners. All of the sign up locations should have their sign up material by Monday afternoon. Entry fees are $120 per team, $60 for any team that has a youth that has not reached 17 when they purchase their process number. Our process number/ mebership fee has increased to $50 for all CBA members who want to compete in any of the points races. All Those who purchase a process number will recieve a free CBA shirt. We hate to raise any fees for anyone, but keep in mind that every dollar that we collect is payed directly back to the fishermen in the Classic Payout.

Keep in mind we have the New Team Points Race where we allow teams who have not fished more than 1 event with us the season prior, to fish against other new teams for a free entry in each event and an end of the seaosn bonus of $500.00

We will again be having the Youth Points Division. All youth teams pay a half priced entry and each youth who shows up will recieve a prize in each event.

Keep in mind that Towboat US will pay $100 to the highest finishing member and $500 in the classic, so be sure to call Captain Shane or Stacey to sign up.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me or any of the other officers. Other information as well as the schedule and official rules can be found at wwww.cbatournament.com
We will be drawing for a free entry fee Wednesday Night at Buffalo Wild Wings on 153. Be sure to be there!

Lookin forward to it as me and bro are gonna try to fish all the day TX....the new team sounds good as we havent fished any of these in years..lol never had 26 # before either...GL to everybody and be safe

It's a different tx than it was years ago hoggsnatcher. Looking for more of you Dayton boys to join us this year.

Want to remind everyone to hold on to their process card. You will use that process card to claim your free CBA shirt...We haven't had weather this mild for the February event in a long time! Looking forward to getting this started.

Me and Colby are looking forward to the start also. Going to be giving our donation this weekend. I hope we can get at least around 15 lbs so we can start earning points. ;) Some of these winter wonder guys I am sure will come in with 25 lbs plus. emoWorthy It leaves me with the thought...I wonder what in the h@*l those guys did to catch that kind of sack. emoScratch Still we will be out there chunking and reeling for our part. emoThumbsup Jmax

I do think this year will be differant in that there will be a lot of big sack weighed in, not just a handful. This warm weather has been here a couple weeks now and not just a warming trend. I bet there could be 10 sacks of at least 20lbs. Guys are going to bring it !

I also want to invite the public out to watch the biggest bass of the season weighing in. We will begin the weigh in at 4:00pm. see you there!

churly - 2/22/2011 8:47 AM Confucious say no big winter sack on shakey or drop shot!

I still remember what the late great Billy Westmoreland emoAngler said years ago..... 'If you use big baits, You're going to catch big fish' emoGeezer </p>

Sign ups will run through 6pm Friday night. If you can't make it, call an officer. We will make sure everyone has a chance to get signed up. This is gonna be a barn burner!

Sounds like everything is turning out good so far Churly. Hope you guys have a good CBA trail this year. I really wish gas prices weren't sky high... I might have to drive down and fish a few with ya. I know you Chattanooga boys will catch e'm good Saturday. Good Luck o'l boy. And just wanted to say that you were doing a good job with the CBA. Haven't heard this much hype about a trail in a while. If history holds true... someone will probably weigh in a record sack!

Thanks Wyatt. It aint easy to put on an event this size!

I want to invite everyone out to watch the weigh-in. I do believe that we will see some giants weighed in. We will begin weighing in at 4:00.

I look for safelight to be around 6:45 or so maybe a bit earlier. Please be in the water and ready on time. We wont hold this show up for anything. Plan on getting their extra early if you need to pay at the ramp.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me put this together!

Pushing 100 boats is unbelievable for a February tournament. Weigh in should be a show. Everyone is invited to the weigh in at 4pm.

A buddy just called me from the weigh-in. So far a 30lb plus bag has weighed in. Big fish...over 9
