2013 REEL Men Official Results

The participation was less than half of what we have had in the past. Can anyone shed some light on why we only had 26 boats? Was it the TBF tournament, a bad date, etc. REEL Men/The Family Church needs to know why we went from 65 last year to 26 this year. Results are below and 5 fish limit.

1st place Kevin Burnette / Chad Reel 25.11lbs
2nd place Brent Travis / Cory Miles 20.62lbs
3rd place Greg Shaver / Daniel Morgan 20.50lbs
4th place Adam Grim / Scott Kelley 18.10 lbs
5th place Brent Tharpe / His brother ??? Tharpe 17.33

I don't have all big fish names so I will only list weights. : 7.62, 7.51, 7.41. All were LM

i fished the tx,but if it had not been for this forum and known from past tx i wouldnt have known about it.there were several people from work that usualy fish it but noone knew anything of it. in the past most received info through the mail, but this year noone that i heard of received anything. anyway i enjoyed the fishing with you guys and look forward to others. i dont get to fish but once or twice a monthso it was tuff fishing for me and the cool front didnt help matters lol but i did have fish. thanks again for the dinner and had fun putting the rods and reels together for the kids upcoming fishing rodeo.
