I still have registrations coming in but we are currently at 180 boats from 32 different high schools throughout TN, GA, and AL. I am going to be in need of some volunteers at Chester Frost Saturday morning to help with parking, traffic flow, etc... Also if anyone has a golf cart we are going to need golf carts for shuttling people, especially from the overflow lot. Please let me know if anyone can help. Thanks!

I would be happy to help. I will pm you my number or just let me know what time to be there. Unfortunately due to a previous commitment, I will only be able to stay until 10:30 or 11:00.

Phillip

I still need a few more volunteers. Brad and I spent the morning with Park and rec working through the flow of traffic etc... Our current boat count is at 216 boats so any help we can get would be amazing. Thank you Phillip for volunteering your time.

Was just wondering if the boat captains can fish also or just the kiddos thanks.

Just the kiddos. You can net their fish, tell them where to cast, run the boat and run the trolling motor. emoAngel Jmax

Sometimes you are aloud to get backlash out for them if you are setting down other times not. Also sometimes you can tie on for them.

If there in high school shouldn't they be able to do all that alone or be required to do it alone. I understand boating them around and netting fish but not the other part. I'm not trying to be ugly just seems like kind of handicapping them for future

I agree. But sometimes it gives the boat captains something to do. Not that my son can't do all that on his own. Sometimes it gets boring setting there when the bite gets slow. But I love spending the time with them.

Yea I could see where it would get boring for sure or where you wish you were fishing too. Be tough hats off to all involved

Looking like this is going to be one huge tournament. I wonder if it is the biggest tournament ever on the chick. Good luck to everyone out there and be safe. Have a great time. I know we will. Just hope to be able to trick 3 good ones in the boat.

Dallas Bay looked like a giant Christmas tree this morning before day lite. With only a 3 fish limit, I figure 12.0 lbs will win it. We had everyone in the water in around two hrs.

Yep, Richard beat me to it. Our very own Chase McCullough put it on some High School young men and women today. He and his partner are both middle schoolers and they came in second with about 13 and a half pounds. The cool thing about that is they were one of just a few middle schooler teams. They fished under Coahulla Creek High School GA and their school won the over all Championship led by Chase and his partner. emoThumbsup Derek was so proud I thought he might explode. emoBigsmile

My two guys I had today were Kaleb James and Davy Warf. They did well also and if it had not been for their crappy net man(me) who missed one at the boat that looked to be about six, then it broke off, they would have been in the top five. Instead they did make the top cut at 19th. They were fishing with Sale Creek High School TN. Not bad either for 226 boats. I was told 40 places were paid out. emoToast Here are the pictures I was given of Chase's team and my guys. emoWorthy Jmax
