The officers of the CBA met and voted on some rule changes last night. There were three rule changes that we voted on.
1st Rule change
In 2016 you will be allowed to throw the Alabama Rig. The CBA will follow state regulations with the bait. State regulations are unlimited wires but no more than 3 hooks on the entire bait.
2nd Rule Change
Spooling and Long-lining will be allowed. Let me be very clear about this. You may only use the trolling motor. Combustible engine must be turned off. You must be free-spooling line out while the trolling motor is running. You cannot advance the lure with the trolling motor.
3rd Rule Change
In order to fish the Classic for no entry fee you must finish in the top 25 teams (it was top50 teams in 2015) or win a regular season event. You still must fish 7 tournament months to be eligible for the Classic.
