RE: 2017 Nitro Z19 w/ Mercury Optimax 150 Pro XS

WOW!!! Dropshot, you weren't joking about this being an incredible deal!!! Opportunities to purchase a boat of this size and in such excellent condition for that asking price are extremely few and far between!!! I wouldn't be surprised at all if it sells before the day is over! Makes wish I didn't already have a boat or at the very least in the market for a once in a lifetime deal like this one!

Looks like a fantastic deal for somebody but the way people are nowadays it's probably not fast enough for them if it don't have a 250 on the back of it. I'd guess it runs in the 50s which is plenty fast for me but I'm old and can't catch a fish anyway.

So wish I could afford this. What a beautiful boat.

Think the guy told me 58...upgrading to the 175 would have gained him 4-5 mph according to Nitro/Mercury.

Re: 2017 Nitro Z19 w/ Mercury Optimax 150 Pro XS

fish cant swim that fast anyway, a study shows that a bass can surge up to 22 mph to catch a meal, but often only swim at less than 1 mph... LOL

Not sure. I posted it for the local guy after we went and looked at it. Gorgeous boat, great price.

RE: 2017 Nitro Z19 w/ Mercury Optimax 150 Pro XS

I knew it wouldn't be long before someone jumped on that fantastic deal! I have the same motor with a 21 Tempest. Managed to hit 58mph WOT @6k... no jack plate... could gain 3 to 5mph adding a $1200 jack plate or a new $550 22 or 23 pitch prop... realistically for me, 3 to 5mph faster wasn't worth that much money to get to the honeyhole at the same time or 20 to 30 seconds ahead of another fishermen. And in my experience/opinion, anything over 40mph in chop or heavy traffic which during prime fishing season for the last couple of years is pretty much every Thursday through Monday, is just beating your investment to death and cause bigger repair issues down the road.
