Ram Jack Scott and I hit the Riverpark today to chase some spots. With the front moving through and the river turned off I did not expect much. When we arrived the wind was blowing 5-10 mph and the cloud cover was thick. When we left we had blue skies and dead calm water. Unreal.
We boated 8 bass total and had two get off. The largest being a 1.5lb smallmouth. The fish were in 5-10 feet of water and we could not put together any sort of pattern today. The fish were everywhere and nowhere at the same time. All fish but one was caught on black/blue pig n jig with the one being caught on a lucky craft crank.
Oh yeah, I caught a 12.5lb drum.
