After flat killing fish this morning I met up with one of my co-workers Jimmy at Racoon Mtn around 3:30 for some more. We ran up river to some of our favor holes to see if the spots were up. Yep, they're up. We flat wore them out. The difference between this evening and this morning was size. We put 40 bass in the boat this evening and at least 20 of them would have measured 12" or better and out best 5 would have been around a 2lb average. We lost another 15 fish or so with 4-5 of these being in the 2lb or better range. These fish for the most part were right on the bank.
Fish this evening were mostly caught on pig n jigs with some of the nicer ones coming on spinner baits right at dark.
So today my little 17ft Nitro had 90 bass in it. Unreal. Best day bass fishing I have ever seen. If we could have boated the ones we stuck the total for today would have been over 120 bass!!!!!!!
Going back in the morning to get some more. See you there BassmanIU!!!
