<font size="4">  Decided to leave work a little early today and take my daughter out fishing. Not the best weather that we have had all week but it was ok. Water was dingy and turbid because of all the wind.</font></p>

<font size="4"> Got on the water at about 1 pm. and dropped the trolling motor and just started fishing from the hwy 58 ramp. </font></p>

<font size="4"> Saw some folks leaving out just as we was getting there and he showed us what they had used. Started out trolling with a green and white jig. Daughter was using minnows and finally started using the jig. Caught about 30 fish all day and here is the talley</font></p>

<font size="4">5 bass</font></p>

<font size="4">3 stripers </font></p>

<font size="4">3 blue gill and the rest was crappie.</font></p>

<font size="4">  I think she had a good time as she didn't want to leave right at dark. She was a trouper today and had the net ready in an instant. More than I can say for me

  Think I will make her my full time partner from now on!</font></p>

Great report fisherpal2k - Great pic too! Her pic with those 2 slabs looks like the pic on the shirt emoThumbsup This report reminds me of my daughter. My girl is almost 14 now...not too much into fishing these days but I have many fond memories of several great trips we had together and hope to have again soon. Congrats on a good fishing buddy!

When I was a kid we fished from the 58 ramp some. All I remember is it was very shallow. Good report and nice fish.

It was very shallow from the ramp out to the channel the deepest water we marked was 6 ft. The water was stained and as we ran out of the green and white grubs we started using a white tube and dying the tail chartruse. It still worked out for us and we had a lot of fun!
