I have seen a HUGE difference in hole shot between the 2. Generally the 4 blade will have a better hole shot and handle rough water and turns better but the 3 blade generally has higher top end speeds. But that is a general rule and does not always hold true. There are so many factors to consider. Sometimes the 4 blade will make it a more solid ride. Alot of bullets have switched to trophys for that aspect. What boat do you have. There are some sites that will tell ya what runs the best. If you call your boat manufacure they will generally tell you what the boat needs as far as set up and will save you some time. Hope this helps.
