I'm gonna stick my big, fat neck out and suggest that all is not as it appears. Exactly how did a woman and her 3 year old daughter get a 300 pound ANYTHING home? If there were that many people looking at this deer and she has been offered $3000 for it, then why isn't there a halfway decent picture of it? EVERYONE has a cell phone with a camera and shoots great pics of everything from UFOs to cow flop, but we get this for a monster buck that is so popular that it had to be moved? Anyone seen this on any of their "social networking" sites, I can't imagine it wouldn't be out there, they show and tell everything else. If it's true I really would love to see some nice photos!

PS: I'm pretty sure I was wrong once before, but I can't remember the details.............maybe I should ask one of my ex-wives..................

Assuming that she did hit that deer with her car, Was it in Tennessee. As far as I know ONLY TN has the "Road Kill" Law. She can not possess the deer in an other State. Furthermore it is illegal to sale wild Deer including in TN. Way too many factors not addressed and too poorly presented to be credible. In the Pic, why so fuzzy, why is she not posing in the photo, She can not stop people from coming to her home so she moved the deer and what about cutting it up before it rots

People sell shoulder mounts all the time...... and I know my wife wouldn't have her pic made with it, if it weighed 500 lbs! But I certainly would have went and picked it up when she called and said she hit it. And I would have put it my truck and called the news and the shoulder mount would go to the high bidder just like they are...... Nothing unethical about it.

Back home in wisconsin when you hit a deer you need to call the police and they willl tag it for you, and then you can take it home with you.And it is normal up north to hang the deer for a few days some even a week before butchering. It drains the blood and its part of the ritual of hunting up north.remember its cold up there.down here you have to butcher them rite away or they will rot.Its too warm. Also you guys arnt used to seeing big bodied deer like that.the deer nown here are small.you can sell the antlers,hides,capes.hooves.whatever but not the meat.Remember whatever meat you have in the freezer you need tags to go with,to be leagal.the cape and antlers from that deer would be worth a few bucks Im sure.look on e-bay you will see alot of em for sale.the bigger they are the more they go for.
