Re: 360 Imaging...Diver Down

Humminbird Marketing Team out working with 360 Imaging Today seen a man diving in the water from a boat and stopped by and asked him if he would do it again to see what they would see with 360 Imaging...Well here you have it!

How about a 45' boat about with a 6'3" guy diving in.... you see that pretty good with 360 in deep water...think it might show where the fish are?

Probably my lack of knowledge, but I'm not getting it.

360 Imaging...new from Humminbird will look 360° around the boat to the sides, behind but most importantly in front of you! It's the first time you can see forward without any need for user input.

RE: 360 Imaging...Diver Down

I think this image looks great. You can see the chines on the hull of the boat. The diver isn't all that clear due to air and water turbulance when he dove into the water. In one of the photos you can see the guys head and legs. I would have liked to see pics of structure and fish. I don't plan on catching a diver. emoLaugh Thanks for the post Doug and keep them coming.

Re: 360 Imaging...Diver Down

I got some other interesting images coming that will show the other uses of 360 Imaging with Structure and Fish! I'll be posting them next week so watch for more. Have a Safe and Blessed Memorial Day and Thank You to all those that have given their all for the price of freedom! I Appreciate what you have done for this country!

Thanks dragfish, my thoughts, as well. The last group of shots did clear things up. The boat is very easy to see but I don't try to catch boats. If I was told it was a kinky beaver being drug thru the water, instead of a diver swimming, I would've believed it. I have an HDS8 with S/S and I can't tell that much, about what I'm looking at either. I need a unit that says "bass, right there, you idiot"

Well Humminbird's Bill Carson went out again armed with Humminbird 360 Imaging and Snorkel Equipment and his GoPro Camera....Here you Go...

Humminbird 360 Imaging showing what's in front of you just like it is under the water...your forward looking under water eyes...no more need to fish in the past!

I was just wondering but couldn't you just put your transducer on your Trolling motor, turn your motor sideways, and see what's in front of you?

Side Imaging works best when the boat is moving. I tried your idea before. The picture is unreadable.

I run SI right now on the trolling motor and it works fine but you are constantly having to move the pedal back and forth to look forward of you but the problem is you have to move the pedal and you have to estimate where the structure is. With 360 Imaging all you have to do is lower it down and it does all the work and shows exactly where the fish and structure are from you. Front, to the side and behind you. Or what ever you select. it's the future of imaging technology and going to change the way I fish for sure. It will make it easy to fish ledges, grass lines and to see every piece of structure and fish in any direction.

Now how about a Stump under water...

Here is what SI shows but it's behind the boat...or historical data...

Now here is 360 Imaging and showing you the same stump...

Here's some more images of the same stump and a few others in the same area
