You have to keep in mind this may not be the best place to sell a dirtbike being we are focused on fishing here. I see all your posts have been made in the "Used Eqiupment" forum, so you may want to consider at least introducing yourself and tell us what kind and where you like to fish? </p>

Basstracker A & J is my step son and just got him started on the forum and fishing TX with me,He is trying to sell some of his stuff so he can begin the long and expensive world of bass fishing,I think if we can post anything from tillers to lawn furniture to cats then somebody might need a dirt bike of video games,So be patient with him he is learning about posting and fishing and could use some help and not the usual comments from some of the members we have,he will be posting about his nick trip soon with his dad so give him a little slack from time to time,Thanks

I am sure we all have tried to sell one thing or another on this FISHING FORUM one time or another.so why cant this boy post a dirt bike .I have seen alot of things not pertaining to fishing on this fishing forum

Whoa! Lets back up here.

NOBODY said he cant sell list his dirt bike! Nobody even implied that was the case, or I am sure it would have been deleted. If a comment I made is being referenced, you need to reconsider how to take things typed on a computer.

I meant no foul against this young man, only responding to frustration he showed with the "Cmon guys" reply after it being posted for just a day. I have no idea what this bike is worth, for all I know it is the deal of a lifetime. My comment only suggested it is not on the top of 99% of the members wish list. I have had several items that were not fishing related sit for weeks that were a STEAL in this portion of the forum, but when I listed them in a place were people were looking for that catagory of item it sold right away. We are very lucky there is not a requirement in place like on most every other forum, requiring that a member be at a certain level of participation to list an item for sale. Austin has the same right as member to list what he wishes.

But I still stand behind my suggestion that he introduce himself on the forum. I can say for certain, folks will buy the exact same item for the same price from someone they know or sort-of know, than a stranger. As you know Taylor, once a member sings on CFF and engages in the site, they are strangers no-more, thats the great thing about this place. emoThumbsup

He is only 14 Spur and learning about all of this,we are helping as much as we can but it takes time, I have posted all sorts of items for sale on here and my .02 is ,that if your not interested in the item ,dont look, or post anything on the thread about it and move on to the fishing section. No harm and I have talked to him and will work things out in the future

This is the father of Basstracker-A&J, I understand we may have got off on the wrong foot here by not introducing our self. So let me start . My name is Jerry And my Sons name is austin. We live in Trenton , Ga and we usually fish over at the Nick. We put in @ the cave and fish around that area. Ditchdoc666 is the stepfather ( and a good one ) to austin. He takes my son fishing quite a bit, in fact he took austin to his first TX the other day and he seem to really enjoy that. I have talked to him and advised him to get on here and introduce himself to the crowd. The boy is 14 and is hooked on fishing, like ditchdoc666 said, he is selling stuff to buy more fishing stuff. The dirt bike you see for sale here was bought and paid for by this kid, I used to own a lawncare business and the kid worked every summer since he was 10 to buy his own toys, I provide needs nots wants. I have sold my business and now he has now way to make extra money. The other day he wanted to go fishing in the TX with ditchdoc666 and I advised him he was not taking my tackle box because I was also going fishing. Well that costed me a trip to wal-mart were he bought his own tackle box and then another $45.00 worth of stuff to put in it. So now he owns his own tackle box and 4 rods. Let me tell you alittle story about our trip the other day. We went fishing at the nick and we took a younger kid with us also, I was sitting up front running the boat and austing was in the back , and the younger kid was in the middle. I turned around to see the younger kid having trouble with his rod, the next time i turned around austin was already helping him and teaching him how to tie a knot on the hook and how to hook his bait on, so not only is austin learning he is already teaching younger kids what he knows. Well i just bwanted to put my two cents worth in and i hope we didn't make anyone mad, I hope to make new friends here and learn alot from everyone, Austin will be on here soon to introduce himself and thanks for being patient. Good luck and lets go fishing.
