5/30 Chick Bass

I was driving through town the other evening and decided to stop by the dayton boat dock to make a few casts before dark. I started about 8:30 throwing a honeybuzz along the weedbeds up and down the banks. Nailed several slicks within the first 50 feet. Got down around the end of the parking lot and caught a nice 3lber. Started heading back to the car because it was getting dark and noticed some fish busting on top. Threw the buzz out and nailed two more slicks. It was dark so I headed out. Felt good to hook a few before heading home!

RRB, I know what you mean about fishing being so available and easy in this part of the country. We are all very blessed to live here and have such a great fishery right at our doorsteps. I grew up in the midwest and the fishing possibilities are much more limited. God and TVA have been very, very good to us!
