5k purse March 8 Chester Frost

The tourny is a fundraiser for the Dalton High Baseball team. This is a 5k purse with Skeeter money as well. $1500 guaranted for 1st place. The entry fee will be $125 and that includes big fish. Safelight until 3p.m. Kevin @grants sporting good will be running the tourny. All sign ups will be done at grants or pm me and I will send you a entry form for via email.

Kevin and all guys at Grants run a great tournament. Good luck with entries, Chickamauga gave up some big strings March of last year and I expect this year to no different.

I am trying to talk them into letting people show up and pay the morning of the event. I do not see the reason for not allowing this to be done. It is a fundrasier for the baseball program. More boats = more money. If anyone wants an entry form please pm or email me @ [email protected]. I would love to see as many CFF people as possible. 5k plus skeeter money is a pretty nice pay out.

I agree with dd22fish. I realize that they want to get people into their store, however, driving from Lakesite to Dalton to sign up for a tourney at Chester Frost is irritating. The Grant's guys do put on well run tourneys and we had fun at the Chickamauga Grant's Tourn. last year. I think their turnouts would increase greatly without this rule.

It works two ways if you ask me. We can sign up in dalton but we have to drive all the way to the lake site to fish. Yall drive all the way to dalton to sign up but are right by the lake. Same thing.

I am taking my boat in on tuesday to fish n fun to get a new gps installed. I plan on asking Lee if I could leave some entry forms there and seeing if we could allow you to pay there. I would then in turn send lauch numbers to the guys who have paid.

??? Not really Bobby....Because the lake is here! emoGoofy I wouldn't mind signing up here for a tourney in Guntersville if that is where the tourney is held! Or Dalton, or Weiss, or wherever. But the lake is here. I don't think you guys would want to drive to Chester Frost to sign up for a tourney that was in Dalton...would you?
Like I said, I think it is just related to getting people into the store but it just isn't convenient. I will stop crying about it now. emoBawl emoBigsmile

Here is the deal.....After discussing it over, we have decided that Grants Sporting Goods will be the only place to sign up for our toury. If some of you guys would like to get together and one person bring down the entry forms that would be fine. Kevin runs a great tournament and he wants to have everything organized. This is the simplest way and its fair to everyone. I personally hope to see many of you at the event.
