Hey guys new to the forum planning a trip down to the chick the last of the month .
Looking for some help as to where to go to fish what kind of baits bringing my dad who is 71 would love for him to catch one of those big bass on chick any help would be great .
We are staying at island cove

Welcome. Try wind blown weed lines with a spinner bait, stalling it out and letting it drop. If the bite is tough, go to a small saftey-pin spinner with a 3" swimbait. Look for bait area's in the morning before the wind comes up. I have found tho, the best bite this time of year and up to Dec. (for me), is the last 2 hrs of light. When the sun gets low, it's Game On!

It was tuff he caught some in The grass the biggest one was about 2 lbs but he enjoyed his self he is wanting to come back in the spring.
