6-7-2006 Catfish Report from .... The Riverpark?

Today Alvin and I went on a trip with rsimms. What a blast! Anyone on the forum looking to catch a big cat or anyone else looking to catch a big cat should book a trip with Richard. I don't think you will be disappointed.

We each caught a 20 lb or better blue with the largest being a 25 lber caught by your truly. I managed to stick the fish of the day (probably the fish of my lifetime) and it pull off. All of the big fish came from one hole in about 30-40 feet of water.

One thing I will note is the fishing up on the upper end of the river is waaaaay different than at Racoon. At Racoon we try to find something different from deep water, such as a hump, ledge, or flat. Up by the dam you try to find a something different from shallow water. It was a very educational trip.

Note that I removed my sunglasses to avoid any misidentification. Dhaun was not on this trip.

Also, that is not the same shirt from yesterday.

Nice Nice shots! And I don't care what ya say Mr.Whiskers ... YOU STILL resemble DHaun! Taking off the glasses didn't help! I'm afraid to loose the connection ... we'll have to call in a plastic surgeon! I really wouldn't worry about it ... both of ya are nice looking fella's.

As long as we don't say you look like the fish you caught ... consider the likeness recognition a compliment!

Very nice fish and pics. I really liked the action shot. Gives you an idea of how much power you are dealing with when you are trying to boat one of those guys.
