7-12-06 Couch Farm Pond, Alabama

My dad had the family and a buddy along to fish his pond this afternoon...The water is down about 4-5 ft and most of the good cover is out of water. Didnt hurt the fishing though!!!

I got this one out of the weeds along the bank with a Sizmic toad. The funny thing is, I was running the toad on the edges, a skeeter bit me on the arm and I slapped it. when I did the toad sank and she nailed it...



A few mins later, my buddy hollars Fish on...



My dad was fishing the Spit'n Image when this one nailed it when it hit the water, I was across the pond and had to zoom in to catch this pic Had the flash on an it made the pic dark for some reason:



About the time my dad was unhooking that fish (didnt want his pic took with it?) my buddy got this one on a chug bug:



It was pretty much dark and with no lights, it was hard to see to unhook the fish, this was the last one of any size we caught:



Both my good fish came off the Sizmic Toad (different colors), Dads fish came off Spit'n Image, my buddies first fish came off 10" Tequlia Sunrise worm, and the Chug Bug. I caught 2 slicks off a Buzz Bait. My buddy, he lost one of the biggest fish my dad has seen in this pond, right at the bank. Beautiful fish, trhoed the chug bug right at my buddy...Great afternoon spent with my dad and my bud fishing the farm pond.

good pics. there is nothing like having a good time with Dad, and friends.... I bet you really enjoyed the evening. Pond fishing ..... there is always a chance to catch some really large fish.... you done good tater...emoRolleyes emoGeezer

Nice fish buddy... man I hope it rains some more so there'll be more water in the pond. Too many nice fish in there for the water to start hurting them.
