Beetlespin and I fished the CBA this weekend and did not do to well. Ended up with over 11 lbs. We had 2 decent fish, 4.78 smallie (that we swear was over 5) and a LM that was around 4. The smallie took big smallmouth. We could not manage a limit though.

Sunday we fished a small tournament and got the limit but there was not a big fish anywhere we fished. It was a pitiful limit.

The water is extremely hot and most of the fish are deep. some as deep as 25 feet.

Man, I'm with ya on the pitiful part.

1 fish in 6 hours! I even sat at the community buoys and got notta! They have to be REAL deep right now or they just don't like the kitchen sink!

Hopefully, if things go right, I may be doing my fishing late at night on the weekends and just save the gas during the week.

judging by the CBA results the last 2 months the night bite is much better.
