7-15 Nickajack

[Jig-Junky]

Fished Nickajack Satuday 12:00 to 5:00. Caught 9 short ones and two keepers. One was a 15” Spot and a 2-6 Largemouth. All were caught on a T-rig.

Started out around Moccasin Bend in Chattanooga and Lookout creeks where I stumbled across the Mad Bomber and his grandson. Saw the Panama Jack hat and thought….. Could it be?! Then I got close enough to see the white beard and knew it was him.

You must really love the heat. We left that area around 11 and we could have cooked an egg on my boat cowl. Nice fish!

Every good to meet you, Sir. I usually launch at Suck Creek...been using that ratty 'ol ramp for years, but for some reason, I like it. Anytime you need a good net man, PM me....I'd be glad to go.

I think I saw you and your grandson, later that day, going up and down the far side of the river. Did you get into some fish over there?
