7-19 Chick bass w/ FA

Well, Since FA carried on so much about how bad a guide I am, I told him that he was the guide today. We did his stuff all morning. Turns out that if we hadn't found some small schooling fish we wouldn't have caught hardly anything. And we came across those by accident.

So, in a nutshell, FA ain't much punkin' as a guide and is probably the worst fisherman I have been with in a looong time. I SKUNKED him again, 9 to zip!!

When will he ever learn, you have got to find some RIP-RAP if you want to catch some FISH!!!

Beautiful morning though with a great friend who, thank God, is also a good sport!

Every thing that Madbomber said is true... I am embarassed beyond words.

I do have something to fall back on here.... I am trying to learn how to fish the dropshot method... I had some hits, just could not hook'um.... Or it was too hot or not enough sleep,etc... you know the excuses. the only thing good about this trip was the run back to the ramp... Cooooolllll me off...
The reason he caught the fish is he had a rod with a chatterbait on when they came up... I did not have something like that on, so I missed my shot... He gave me a rod with a spinnerbait on it and the first cast, yeah, big high speed over run.... thanks MB love ya man emoWorthy emoGeezer

We are not very funny while we're fishing! We are SERIOUS!! We don't laugh about it until we get back home. We do enjoy each other's company, though.

I meant to add a couple of things about the trip on Chick....
The water temp. was 86 degrees in Soddy Creek and about the same out on the river... No wonder I did not catch any fish.... too hotemoGeezer

Yeah, that must have been it. It was 72 degrees off the front of the boat where I was fishing. I should have thought of that! LOL!!!!
