Well, the day didn't start off as good as I wanted it or well planned it to. I set my alarm to go off in more than enough time to get on the water before daylight. Some time after I hit the Snooze button, I guess I turned the alarm off...
I woke up at 6:30am and decided that it was too late, should have went on anyway. Decided to get the yard work done and put the baby crib together. Left the house around 4cst. Was on the water by 5 and the bad storm had just past. Pretty good stiff wind out of the south=southwest had a little chop on the water.
Started out Flippin' grass patches no takers, chatterbaited the edges, no takers. Got the trusty Zoom Ol Monster out, Missed 2 fish emoBang I dont know what the problem was, did however have a pretty good sized bream have most of the tail n his mouth right at the boat.
The sun go further down and got out the Sismic Toad once again, 2 blow-ups and a missed fish later, I was headed to the ramp. Was only on the water for 2.5 hours and didn't boat a fish, missed 4 but that dont count...emoPoke
Really wished I would have went on out and jig fished during the hottest part of the day, but there was a pretty good thunderstorm cell than came through and the blue boat dont like that kinda water.
