We had 9 boats entered tonight on a rough, tough and unproductive night of fishing. I knew the weigh-in would be quick when I only saw two boats approaching the ramp to weigh-in at 9:45.

FIRST PLACE AND BIG FISH:

Mark Skelton and Tommy Bowling weighed in 2 fish at 4.28. Big fish weighed 2.90

Second Place:
Channing Wilson and Nathan Wilson weighed in 1 fish at 2.82.

Third Place:
A 7 way tie with goose eggs.

Ratman and I tried deep water, skinny water, tree tops, tree bottoms, humps and assorted bumps. We even thought about weighing in a box of Mrs. Paul's Fish Sticks.

4.28 - 2.90 = one long skinny kicker 1.38

rough night for us we lost 3 solid keepers

lots of boats on the water

first i would like to thank rodbuilder2 for the backseat again. we had a rough night could not get anything to really nail and hang on for a hook set. but nice to meet some new folks and congrats to the winners. emoParty emoThumbsup

I guess we should have gone to the weigh ins with our 2 keepers but JSV and I both figured surely somebody would have 3 fish. It was tough on us but we did manage several fish but they were just lil juveniles that were practicing for being a big fish one day. We had one that measured 15" and the other about 16 or 17". We caught most of them on plastics in about 10- 15 ft of water.

We managed to catch the biggest one on plastics in about 10-15' of water, with a few other slicks. We moved just before dark and fished some deep water docks. Managed to finally get one more barely keeper on a spinnerbait, just before weigh in. I wouldn't have thought we would have won with what we had. Tough night on the lake but turned out to be a lucky night for us.
