we left the boat ramp (washington ferry) about 4:30pm fished all the community holes.we started fishing the bridge pillars (current was rolling!) no takers.we left there headed north, stopped and fished every bluff between hwy 30 bridge and the dam got 1 spot (14") on a finese worm-green pumpkin, when we got to the dam i thought our luck had changed, first cast on a cb caught a 2 1/2 lb lm,2nd cast got broke off (8lb test) then they started busting minnows they werent interested in our spook jr. on our way back down the rip rap my partner calls for the net when the fish came up i knew why SMALLMOUTH looked to be between 4lb and 5lb i guess thats why he got that big, after the second jump(3ft in the air) the sm threw the spook jr like a baseball.oh well better luck next time charlie!i really enjoy this site glad i found it.
