Thought I wld repost since I only got 1 response. Thanks to winch for that one.
I have a 2009 triton with a 90 hrs merc. When I first put in it doesn't want to idle until it gets warm it seems. Also when I try to take off if I throw down the throt it won't take off. It stalls out. I have to start slow then throw it down. When i do that it runs great i get 45mph with 2 ppl and a loaded boat. Any help?????

Try the B-12. It worked for me. I also try to use non ethanol fuel if possible. Walmart sell the Berriman B-12 right by the Seafoam but its only $4 a can instead of $12. It works on your bowls or jets while the engine is not running. Have you checked the bubble and fuel filter by the way?

Is it an optimax? If so could be a million things, but I would start with making sure the ball stays hard with fuel. Replace fuel filter, check fuel rail fuel pressure.

Is this a carb, efi, or dfi (opti) engine? There can be different issue for each. Need a little more information on what you have to offer a informative suggestion.

too many problems, just give the boat and motor to me... emoLaugh emoBigsmile. I would start by making sure the fuel filter is clean, also do you have problems with it starting a second time after it has warmed up, say when you start to leave after running to first hole. if so I would check the bubble and may even replace the fuel lines if they are feeling soft to the squeeze. non alchohol lines will breakdown from the inside out from the use of ethanol fuel.
