Are you looking for tilt/trim? If so Bass Pro Shops has a CMC unit for $550, 630 with trim gauge.
My son-in-law put one on his boat and it worked really well, easy install if you're mechanically inclined at all and can lift the motor somehow.
Big inprovement in hole shot and top end, plus tilting for shallow water was nice.
What dragfish suggested is probably the most economical way.
If you want the factory trim, there is a lot involved. Easier to by a blown 50HP engine and put your power head and lower on it. Then sell the rest. Been a while since I looked... But best I remember, the complete transom bracket is different between power trim and manual.
wrechin2 if i were to get that t n t from bass pro shops would you be willing to install it for me . you are prob the most highly talked about guy that works on boats and never hear anything negative about your work. i would just take it somewhere but i have a trust issue with people working on my stuff but as much as i have heard about you i feel i can trust you. i really have a thing with this boat as i have inherited it from my grandfather and it means alot to me i know you understand. thanks for replys
I'll tell you right now-If you have Wrenchin do it for you, your boat will leave his place in top-notch shape.
He is very thorough and will spot any other problem that you probably don't even know about.
If he gets his way you may end up with the first 60 mph 48 ever! emoThumbsup
