A little help with swimbaits

I am coming down the first week of March with my son to fish a tournament. We can't use A-rigs but can use swimbaits. Just about everything that I've watched or read has said that water clarity should be clear to slightly stained to use swimbaits. I was wondering if anyone has had success on the Big G using them and could help with any info about their use. If you prefer to PM me that's fine too. Thanks for whatever help you can offer!

No lie 5 1/2 and bigger. Shadaliciois or basstrix. 1/2 oz belly weight hook on deeper grasslines and you better hold on.
