my best friend and i use to try that at our neighborhood pond. we never had any luck with the boat. we did, however catch a couple by throwing out some line with the other end attached to a remote control car, and when the line moved we would have a little 'tractor pull' and catch bream that way.

oh man that cat looked like it was gonna pull the whole boat under emoLaugh if i did have a boat like that i would HAVE
to try it emoTongue

I saw this remote boat used on a T V Program sometime ago .the fellow was up close to a DAM and ran his
REMOTE up against the Spilway .LOTS OF FUN to watch them catch Fish . GOOD STORY and Clip.

I have a remote control boat that I used to carry spinnerbaits under the bridge at Cummings Cove on Nickajack. I
would run the boat with the bait attached to it and freespool line and pop it off the boat when it was way on the other side
and retrieve the boat and then start retrieving my spinnerbait. Caught some good bass this way. I haven't used the boat
for about a year so if someone wants to buy it, it is for sale complete with piranha charger.

Oops... missed this post. Posted it again in "General." That is too cool... but it wouldn't take much more fish for that kid to lose his boat.
