A weird morning in treestand

Went with a friend that has some property right on river to hunt this morning. And I climbed right beside the river. 2 does came out and fed 15yds from me and when I stood up to shoot, treestand sqeeked and they busted me and trotted off. Then 30minutes later another doe came out about 50yds. I stood up and watched her feeding strait at me. Then out of no where this monster beaver came walking up. And for the first time i saw a beaver and a deer have a face off. Neither would give any ground. Just standing there staring at each other. The beaver finally smacked his tail on the ground and deer backed off and headed away from me. Then that big beaver came out in a clearing around 35yds from me. So I thought ol boy, I'm fixing to teach you a lesson for running my deer off. But as my luck would have it, I missed the big fat sucker! But all in all, it was a very interesting and fun hunt! Also saw a whole family of raccoons!

Yea you got that right beavers do ALWAYS win.. had on attack me for wading to close to his house once.. I threw rocks swung a log at it ... that beaver was taking only one answer.. me running

I've missed plenty of deer, but I think missing this beaver has bothered me the worse. Never got to see one up close. I really wanted to see how big those teeth were that chews those tree's down.
