ABA Div. 30 at Gunterville this Sat. 2/12

Just wanted to remind everyone about the ABA Draw trial tournament at Guntersville this Saturday 2/12 from safe light to 3 pm est. I have had several calls and e-mails about this tournament and we are looking to have a good crowd. If you are not an ABA member you can join at the ramp for $25 annual membership and the entry fee is $75 per person if you pay at the ramp. You can also preregister online for $70 on the ABA website. you can come and fish as a boater or non-boater. you don't have to link prior to the tournament you just show up pay your entry fee and fish. Boaters are guaranteed to fish out of their own boat. If you think you may be fishing with us this weekend please send me a pm or call me @ 706-280-0711. Hope to see you there!

how much is a fair amount to bring for gas money to the boater? I am sure some boats get better milage than others and don't want to come up empty handed if I do get to come fish it.

Not sure but, $30.00 should be a reasonable guess.

It depends on how much running your boater does, but is up to the boater and non-boater to work that out.

Whewww, gonna be crowded Saturday! BFL I read, is expecting possibly 400 boats!

Usually 200 boats is a full field for BFL. 200 boaters and 200 co-anglers being paired together but your right it is going to be crowded. I'm glad they are putting in at the lower end of the lake it should give us first shot at the mid-lake areas.
