We had a good day and not as good a turn-out as I had hoped for, but none-the-less we had a great time! Congratulations to Andy Parkinson on his win and an awesome 9.19 lb kicker. I’m listing the top four finishers which were the only double digit weights brought in. Sorry for the late post! My old dinosaur computer is giving me problems. I'll add the ABA link once it is up on the ABA site. Our next tournament is December 8th on Nickajack at Shellmound.

1. Andy Parkinson 4/4 20.84 lbs
2. Gary Carter 5/5 15.40 lbs
3. Zach Crider 5/5 14.24 lbs
4. Gary Thacker 5/5 11.26 lbs

Thanks for the comments guys. That makes 2 fish over 9 lbs I have caught in tourneys this year on the Chick.. This lake is a great resource and I think its a tribute to the Fisherman that have spent valuable time and money protecting it over the years.

Andy, thanks for fishing with us Saturday and also to everyone else who came out and fished. I would like to encourage others to come out and give this trail a try. We just need about 8 to 15 more participants to make this trail a lot fun and more interesting. Just because you missed the first one doesn't mean that it's to late to come and start competing. You're only scored on you top four one day events and the two day tournament at the end of the year. So catching up isn't difficult to do. You can also go and fish other ABA divisions to accumulate points towards qualifying for Nationals. Congrats to Andy once again on an awesome fish!
