ABA, American Fishing Tour draw trail division 30 has now moved a little further east and for the 2011 season will be fishing Chickamauga, Nickajack and Guntersville. This is an amateur only trail and is the same ABA that runs the BASSMASTER Weekend series for BASS. The annual membership is $25. This trail has two national tournaments that you can qualify for. One is AOY which takes the top angler from each division and the other is finishing in the top 500 in points nationally. Both of these tournaments give away rigged Triton boats. If you are interested in fishing a great amateur tournament trail go to www.americanbassanglers.com and go to the draw trail and you can access all of the rules and also join ABA or feel free to call me and I will be glad to help you and answer any questions that I can. The schedule will be posted sometime this week. There is 8 tournaments and all of them will be held on the 3 lakes mentioned above starting December 4th 2010 and continuing into 2011. Boaters and non-boaters are welcome. Entry fee is $70 per angler including big fish. The paybacks are good and they also award plaques for the top finishers at each tournament. They also have all kinds of contingency programs for Triton boat owners, Mecury Outboards, Toyota trucks, Royal Purple. Give me a call @ 706-280-0711 or check it out at www.americanbassanglers.com

I also wanted to mention that you can fish other divisions to help you accumulate extra points for the top 500 although those points that you accumulate outside the division will not count towards your divisional points for AOY. I will be posting the schedule in the next 2 or 3 days for division 30. Most all of the other 2011 division schedules are up on the ABA web page.

RE: ABA Draw Trail (New Div. for SE TN)

Are you serious? ABA moved the BWS TN Central to west TN, and now you're moving division 30 to east TN.

RE: ABA Draw Trail (New Div. for SE TN)

Division 30 was previously SE Tn. and still is SE TN. It simply dropped Tims, Woods and Normandy and added Chickamauga. Nickajack and Guntersville were on the previous schedules and will be on the new one. Central Tn. is division 31 and it is still there. The ABA BASSMASTER weekend series for central Tn. Is basically the same as it was last year except they took off Centerhill and added Barkley.

RE: ABA Draw Trail (New Div. for SE TN)

No, this year TN central only went to ky lake once. Now going to ky lake twice and barkley once. It's still called tn central, but it's not anymore. on the AFT south east tn. used to be tims, woods, and normandy. then guntersville was added. Last year if I'm not mistaked was the first year chickamauga and nickajack was included.

RE: ABA Draw Trail (New Div. for SE TN)

I'm sorry for the changes to the weekend series and also sorry if you are inconvenienced by the division 30 schedule. Chickamauga was not on the schedule at all last year. Nickajack was on it twice and Guntersville twice as well as Tims, Woods and Normandy. This division only avereged 6 to 10 boats per tournament at best last year, by moving it closer Chattanooga should get more participation. My intentions for this this post were not intended to upset anyone but to generate more interest in fishing this division.

This sounds good! I'll be interested in seeing the schedule, I hope you have it posted soon.

Re: ABA Draw Trail (New Div. for SE TN)

The national this coming year will be on Lake Murray in South Carolina.
I have fished ABA for 3 years in district 125 and also went to Kentucky lake. Had my chances for big fish 2 different days and lost both.
There were 319 anglers on the last national.
I am trying to work it out so I can fish some of district 30's tournaments.

yea man im in i like the schedule its on 3 lakes i love to fish and hopefully there will be some good competition , so lets get as many people interested as possible so we can get a good turnout

There will be more than in the past! I'm getting alot of positive feedback with the new schedule and moving it closer to Chattanooga. If you are interested in fishing ABA div.30 and you are not an ABA member I have applications or you can join online. The membership is $25 a year. This division is really going to grow this year.
