? about water pressure gauge

My boat has been in the shop for a lil over a month and i got it back yesterday and ran it and it was running good but my water pressure gauge seemed to be stuck or not working the motor was peeing as normal and no buzzers went off what might be the problem?

make sure hose is on both ends.i will not run mine if gauge is not working,peeing or not.

I would agree with Oldman its probably just a hose they forgot to hook back up.
