A couple of weeks ago an insert came out of the last eye of my Veritas. I emailed Abu Garcia simply to ask would it be better for me to get a new eye or can I just have an insert. About an hour later my phone rang. It was Abu Garcia, they told me to take pictures of the rod and the information on the rod and they would send me a new one. I repeatedly told them that was not necessary I was just trying to figure out how to fix it. The lady I spoke with said the eye shouldnt have came out and they were going to send me a new one. I asked should I send the old one in and she said not to worry we will send you a new one and I should get the old one fix. So I ended up with two rods for the price of one. How awesome is that? I just wanted to brag on Abu Garcia.
 
Good to hear. I had the butt come off a rod a few months ago... I called and asked for the foam butt piece and they sent me anall new rod at no charge. I cut the foam off an old rod and repaired the old one... Now have two nice rods. These are the Verocity rods. I have 4 of them now. My favorite.
 
Well you can't beat that! Hardly hear of a company actually backing their product like that.
 
Yea thats right. I can say one thing, I'll never own another Duckett rod. All over warranty issues.

I have never had any issues with Abu Garcia products to this point. However, that is great to hear just in case I do in the future. It is good to see a company stand behind something they sell.
 
Yep they are excellent!! I had a broken guide at the tip and they sent me another rod. fixed the tip and have two rods also. Best service I've ever had!
 
i had 2 revo reels 2 years old and had problems with both sent them back to them about 2 weeks later got them back no charge and no shipping fees cant beat that
