Acadia rods

Has anyone ever used an Acadia rod. I keep getting mail from them, the hype sounds hard to believe for 2 rods that cost 50 bucks? Any information would be appreciated.

There was something on bbc about them a while back. You tend to get what you pay for with rods. What would you use the rods for?

I am curious to know about the quality.Did not have a use in mind. This was the second mailing to come to me. Just thought for the price I might give them a try?
