Went up to the in-laws yesterday near Skull Island. Checked Wolftever and Skull Island ramps. Both looked good except for no courtesy dock. Where can I launch that has a dock beside the ramp?

The ramp at the dam is a winter place with a courtesy dock. Booker T. Washington state park has a dock. emoGeezer

Thanks DK!

I went on a scout trip today to look at ramps. The dam ramp and Booker T both look nice.

Bassman,

I would suggest staying away from Sull Island ramp. My car and another guys who was with me got broken into there. Harrison Bay state park has a good setup with two docks. just watch for shallow water on the left as you are going out. by the way i though wolftever had a dock?

WT has a dock but this time of year it is high and dry. If it comes up another two to three foot you can use the end but right now it barely touches the water.:( Jmax

Chester frost park ramp is terrible, you'll back off the end of the ramp if not careful. The dang water level is really low right now. Carefull with the props unloading and loading.
