Hey guys-

Sorry to spring this on ya'll the day of the meeting.....but my little girl had an accident last night and cut her nose up pretty bad and we have been in the hospital with her. She was standing at the coffee table and lost her balance and smashed the corner of the table. They had to do emergency plastic surgery on her nose, but the Dr did a great job and he is confident that once she heals the scar wont even be noticeable. He said as far as he could tell there was no structural damage or any damage to her sinus cavities, thank God! She cut all the way across the bottom of her septum and then up and around her left nostril. It was a bloody mess to say the least. I am so sorry to bail on you guys at the last minute again, but my hands are tied with this one. She is doing fine now and acts as if nothing happens. We just have to be careful to watch for infection and high fever.

This has been my first "bad" experience since becoming a father, and I must say it sucks ass! I have never experienced such a helpless feeling in all of my life as I did when the Drs carried her away last night and those swinging doors closed behind them. I felt like I wanted to die right then and there. But the Lord was with us and got us through the surgery and my wife and I are VERY thankful.

Again, I am so sorry to back out on you all tonight, but I think you will all understand. I will be at home tonight and I can be reached on my cell at 706 218 4822. Ya'll feel free to give me a call if my input is needed on anything. I wish I could be there with you guys! I really need a beer or two after all this!!!

God Bless you all

thank you all for your kind words. Blakely is doing great and still acts like nothing ever happened. She whimpers a little if she rubs her nose or something, but other than that she is doing really well. She has been running a low-mid grade fever, but they said that is totally normal due to the antibiotics. As long as it doesn't get up to 102-103 we should be ok.

Thank ya'll again for the kind words and thoughts! This is really a great place with some even better people!
