I DONT KNOW ABOUT ANYONE ELSE...BUT ON OUR LEASE IN MCMINNVILLE..THERE ARE MORE ACORNS THEN I HAVE SEEN IN MANY YEARS..AND THIS MAKES IT SO THOUGH TO HUNT..CAUSE THE DEER DONT HAVE TO MOVE TO EAT...I TALKED WITH A LOCAL GAME WARDEN AND HE SAID ITS THE BIGGEST ACORN DROP SINCE 1993....HOPEFULLY THE RUT WILL MAKE THEM MOVE..HAHA LOL GOOD LUCK TO ALL

... but which kind of acorns? White, Red or Chestnut Oak!? They don't usually like Chestnut Qak acorns at all. They love the White and like the Red as a rule. Check it out!

Why does it have to be a color thing Earl? emoLaugh

Maybe we'll have a winter like 93, that would be interesting.

... I don't really know? I didn't taste any of them either?! But you look at the trees and the White Oaks acorns will disapear first, then the reds and those big 'ol Chestnuts will lay there forever!

mainly the white oaks...which is a known fact the deer like the best....so it really sucks...i went from seein 103 deer on trail cam to seein 30..and it started right after the acorns started hittin te ground...i would say the deer harvest will be down this year...cause i really dont think they will move except for the ruts......thats my opinion

i have noticed a lot of accorns in the higher elevations versus in the lower areas. I have not been seeing anything except does and fawns but believe i have heard a few grunts in the areas I am hunting. Hope everyone has a great season.

yeah i havent found any rubs or scrapes this year....i have got some decent bucks on trail camera but not enough to pattern them...hopefully it will pick up
