Had a great morning to fish today. It was 66 when we started at 6 o'clock this morning and at noon it was heating up to the upper 80s when we weighed in. I want to thank everyone for keeping almost all the fish alive today. emoThumbsup There were 63 bass weighed in today and only three came to the scales deceased. One more died in the water after it had been released, so best I know we had four. The rest swam off. Now to the results. This was a three fish tournament, six hours, 28 boats fished it and paid four places with big LM/SM and big spot.

1st place and big bass was won by a newby. emoTongue Had the team of Jeff Hawkins and Gary Hawkins come in with a kicker and a half. Gary had only fished one other tournament before. emoBigsmile Good way to start, he caught the big one. Their total weight was 13.81 lbs and big bass was 8.53 lbs. emoWorthy So...they got 1st place at $280.00, big bass at $100.00 and the bonus money for first given by Action Alarms of $200.00. That is a total of $580.00 for a six hour dog fight...not bad. emoToast Congrats! emoApplause

2nd place was the team of Blake Smith and Corey Johnson with 12.97 lbs. good for $210.00.
3rd place was Bob Anthony fishing by himself with 12.78 lbs. good for $140.00.
4th place was Jake Osborne and Drew Richards with 10.65 lbs. good for $70.00.

5th David Crider and Zach Crider with 10.06.
6th Brian Pierce and Joel Smith with 10.05.
7th Tony Rosers and Lynn Roark with 9.72.
8th Robert Simpson and Danny Danials with 9.50.
9th Ram Jack and Hagen with 9.35. They had big spot of the tournament at 2.60 lbs good for $40.00.
10th Wes Hardin and Ron Wilerson with 9.33.
11th Jmax and Colby with 8.27.
12th Jeff Brown and Dave Massengale with 7.77.
13th Troy Smith and Troy Evens with 7.59.
14th Billy Campbell and Jon Cordell with 7.57.
15th Austin Jayne by himself with 7.34.
16th Jeremy Henderson and Blake Gideon with 7.31.
17th Zack L(?) and Bryan Clayton with 7.02.
18th Paul Hunter and Mike Colake with 6.56.
19th Jimmy Reynolds and Dale Reynolds with 6.08.(? hard to read the weight on this one?)
20th David Hix and Charlie Lusk with 5.71.
21st Carl and Chris Thomas with 5.63.

The remaining seven teams did not weigh in. emoSorry

It was a great tournament with lots of bass weighed in. Thanks to all who helped me and also to Robert and anyone else that helped fizz bass and get them taken care of. emoThanks Jmax

Thanks for putting this tournament on!
In my opinion, this tournament was run very well and I didn't see any issues.
I personally liked the end time of noon and only 3 fish limit during the summer months.
Anyways, thanks for putting it on Jmax and had a great time!

Great tx and a good time. Thanks to jmax for arranging this and to pointer for asking me to fish with him. We started off deep but but couldnt find em. Ended up shallow in grass around 10. Had a nice 3 or 4 lber that broke off of pointer's blade that would have hellped the other 2 we put in the boat by teaxas rigging worms in 5 fow. Overall it was a goo day. Thanks again to jmax, colby for helpin him, pointer for allowing me to be a guest and action alarms for the $200 donation.

Robert Simpson took a picture of that great looking big bass that went 8.53 lbs. Hopefully he can attach it to this post. I know most of the time a picture does not do one that big justice but we will see. :) Jmax

thanks jmax and action alarms for a great tournament, this was my fishing partners second ever dog fight and his best bass ever, at 8.53, congrats gary.

Congrats to the winners and their huge fish. I really thought the weights would be a little higher since we had almost 13lbs with the three fish but we got lucky I guess. lol It was a well ran tournament and I appreciate JMAX for putting it on. I can't wait to fish them again.

Thought I would add that the four bass that were deceased went home with someone to be given away to a person where they work that needed some fish. emoThumbsup Jmax
